In 2019, Glastonbury Festival introduced HVO to power its many generators for the first time. Without modifying their generators, Glastonbury switched to HVO and achieved a 5% improvement in generation efficiency and an annual CO2 saving equal to taking 45 family cars off the road. Glastonbury Festival are committed to reducing greenhouse emissions and using clean energy sources whenever possible.
